Internet explorer is almost here and since the last post about the beta, I really hasn't seen a point in writing another post on the RC (release candidate) . It really isn't that interesting.
So here goes for the BL (before launching)
beauty of the web started out as another Microsoft browser, brining Html 5 to the table.
Quickly other browser makers and brands upgraded there browser to be Html 5 compatible.
beauty of the web adapt a new interface and feeling. making use of your GPU(Graphical processing unit)
instead of just the CPU.
there were a few bugs and nicer interface ideas to brining more eyecandy to interface.
when the RC released the experience where more smother and less buggy.
the RC was also what you were able to expect in the final version of IE9. I must say I was quite impressed on my windows machine... ( I am still an Opera and chrome user)
IE9 is only available on vista and windows 7 machines. making windows xp feel old, but hey chrome is also as good, maybe even better!
I don't really think that Internet explorer is even worth it even more, YES they brought Html 5 to the table (I think IE4 brought html to the table, not sure) but either than that there UI isn't that good compared to Firefox, Opera and chrome
the disable add-ons pop-up is annoying.
I must say it's faster, but chrome is also fast :(.
the UI's layout is stupid, who want the tabs to be next to the URL. blocking the view of the URL (who knows if your on the right site or a scam site?)
also the add-ons bar wasn't improved in the RC (nothing more to say about it till in final release)
wasn't there hiccups on Facebook? let's hope that gets fixed.
and isn't there security holes?
but other than that it's completely better than IE8/IE7
what do you think?
